The sire of this filly is Leandro VG, winner of the Pavo stallion competition at the age of 7 and already active at international 1m40 to 1m50 level as an 8-year-old. Last year, Jeroen De Winter ended with Leandro VG 4th in the Ghent Grand Prix. Leandro combines speed, reflexes, suppleness and a strong competitive mentality.
Vera-Linn’s dam is the 6-year-old Piadora van de Bokke. Piadora’s dam produced the international showjumper Nazarine VD Bokke and Piadora’s granddam produced the approved stallions Star Pleasure Mispelaere and Verdi van de Bokke. A large number of international performers belong to this BWP line 19, amongst them Giljan van de Mispelaere, Picaso, Joblesse and Jacarta van ’t Ravennest.
