His sire, Burberry DK (by By Cera d’Ick), is a grandson of Narcotique de Muze II, a descendant of the famous Qerly Chin dam line (BWP lineage 34). Burberry DK’s dam, Teekitiezzy de Muze, produced the international showjumpers Go Easy de Muze, Hocus Pocus de Muze and Iceman de Muze. Burberry DK took part in 4 heats of the stallion competition in 2020. The 3 clear rounds resulted in an ex aequo first place in the final ranking. Also, this year the promising Burberry DK jumped clear in almost all heats of the stallion competition in which he participated.
A high dose of performance is anchored in the dam line of Wonderboy MDB. Innadina Pp, Wonderboy’s dam, is a half-sister to the 6-year-old Caidinus Pp who jumps at 1m35 level. Innadina’s granddam, Wadina, produced Corradina Pp (1m60 level) and Heyodinus Pp (1m45 level). Other performers such as Ginadina Pp (5*, William Fletcher) and Van Schijndel’s Dominus (5*, Piet Raijmakers Jr.), as well as the Heartbreaker son Padinus, who died much too early, also belong to this successful, originally Dutch breeding family.
During the most recent national foal championship BWP Elite foals the jury gave high scores to Wonderboy MDB, including 32/40 for ‘type and correctness’ and 16/20 for ‘appearance’. Wonderboy is a beautiful type. He has a light-footed trot and canter, with impulsion and sufficient space.
