Whoever buys Wolfgang van ’t Zorgvliet becomes the owner of a son of the living legend Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, crossed with the BWP line 117. BWP ambassador Emerald was successful at the highest level, including victories in Nations Cups, 5* Grands Prix and participation in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. He has not only proven himself in top-class showjumping, but also consistently produces successful showjumpers. Just think of Igor (golden team medal and individual bronze at the EC in Rotterdam 2019), Imerald van ’t Voorhof and Kasper van het Hellehof. Thanks in part to them and a long list of other great performers, Emerald is in 25th place in the WBFSH sire ranking.
Milou van ’t Zorgvliet, Wolfgang’s dam, is a 3-year-old daughter by the BWP ambassador Malito de Rêve. Via Milou, Wolfgang is a descendant of the BWP lineage 117, which includes no fewer than 12 international showjumpers (including Toulon (5*, Hubert Bourdy), Vancouver d’Auvray (5*, Bernardo Cardoso de Resende Alves), Bambino and Citta van ’t Zorgvliet, Haldor and Impuls VD Heffinck, Deauville and Flobecq de la Vie) and 8 approved stallions, including the BWP ambassador Toulon and the BWP elite stallion Vancouver d’Auvray.
Wolfgang van ’t Zorgvliet has correct conformation of the legs and a strong top line with good proportions. He has a good trot. His canter is good uphill jumped, with a lot of impulsion from the hindquarters.
