PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS
Wilco van het Klokkenhof’s sire is called For Treasure VDL. In his pedigree, For Treasure unites two stallions who both achieved brilliant results during two Olympiads (Sydney and Atlanta), namely For Pleasure and Carthago. For Treasure did not miss his debut: when he was presented as a candidate breeding stallion in Oldenburg he was immediately crowned ‘Reservesieger’ and during his performance tests in Adelheidsdorf he once again underlined his showjumping qualities, with a 10/10 for showjumping aptitude.
Wilco also inherited a dose of top showjumping blood on his dam’s side. His dam, Orelie van het Klokkenhof, is an 8-year-old direct daughter of Numero Uno, a KWPN ‘Preferent’ stallion who is highly regarded in the world of top showjumping. Her first descendant, Tristan van het Klokkenhof, was sold this year during the BWP Top Stallion Auction. Quina van het Klokkenhof, the granddam of Wilco and Tristan, is a BWP elite mare, with whom Davy Lannoo and Bart Bomere have performed in the sport.
Wilco is a foal standing over a lot of ground.
