Thanks to White Socks van Thornesele, you can buy the colt that achieved fifth place in the final of the national championship BWP Elite foals. His sire is the 8-year-old, very promising and interestingly bred BWP Young Stallion Award winner Ermitage Kalone. Under the saddle of Gilles Thomas, Ermitage Kalone performs very well. This year the duo became 2nd in the 2*GP of Valkenswaard (1m45 level) and 3rd in a 3* 1m45 class at Stephex. Despite his young age, Ermitage Kalone has already given his business card several times. Last year as well as this year he sired a champion foal during the national championship BWP Elite foals and his son Sunday JM was honoured as 1st reserve champion during the BWP stallion selection last year.
Kiruna van Thornesele, the dam of White Socks, is a full sister to No Limit van Thornesele who jumped very successfully and often faultless in 2019 at international competitions for six-year-olds and who made his international 1* debut last year. Kiruna’s dam, True Value van Thornesele, jumped at 1m40 level. This lineage includes top-class showjumpers (amongst them Volare van de Bunte, Barrichello and Varenne) and several approved stallions, such as Principal van Thornesele, Centolys and Volare van de Bunte.
White Socks van Thornesele is a chic, correctly built foal with a lot of appearance and is standing over a lot of ground. He has a nice head-neck connection and a good walk and trot.
