Whisper van het Leliehof’s sire, Cote d’Or, makes us smelt when we see him at work in showjumping competitions. He has everything to make it happen at the highest level. Both his sire (Carambole) and his dam (Diamonds Billy) performed at international five-star level. Via Diamonds Billy, the BWP approved Cote d’Or is a half-brother to the international showjumper Luigi (1m40 to 1m50 level, Dirk Demeersman) and the approved stallion Jewel ASK. In partnership with Dirk Demeersman, Cote d’Or has participated in international showjumping competitions for young horses since April this year, where they regularly left the arena without making any mistake.
Whisper’s dam, the BWP Elite mare Jativa van het Leliehof, completed several clear rounds in the cycle in 2015 as a six-year-old, under the saddle of Stijn Baert. In combination with Bamako de Muze, she produced Nativio van het Leliehof. Nativio performs at international 1m45 level. A few months ago, Nativio finished 3rd in a 1m45 GP, in partnership with Sofie Najmanova. On Sunday 18 September they achieved a 1st place in the CSIY-Grand Prix - 1.40m in Samorin.
Whisper van het Leliehof is a long-legged foal that can switch easily in canter.
