PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS
Warlock VD Oudeveldhoeve unites two BWP lines in his pedigree. His sire is the promising 4-year-old Socrates van den Bosdam (BWP line 116). Following his approval in 2021 in the BWP, BWP vice-chairman Boudewijn Schepers said: ‘Socrates van den Bosdam, a son of Eras Ste Hermelle, became champion stallion. He was the most complete stallion, with a correct conformation, correct conformation of the legs, good movements, a good rideability and he showed his showjumping qualities.’ In partnership with Jeroen De Winter, Socrates didn’t make any fault this year, neither in the stallion competition nor in the 7 heats of the cycle in which the duo participated so far.
Elite Fravanca, Warlock’s dam, is a descendant of the BWP lineage 88. Elite’s dam is the dam of Urbi Fravanca (5*, Bernardo Alves and Laura Sarah de Gunzburg), the granddam of the international showjumper Eurli Fravanca (3*, Sam Polleunis) and the approved stallion Nathan van ’t Slot, as well as the great-granddam of Idam Fravanca (1m55 level, Sam Polleunis) and Jetot Fravanca (1m55 level, Anthony Wellens). In short, a performance line from which generation after generation of performers are born. So, it’s high time to join this successful line.
Warlock VD Oudeveldhoeve is standing over a lot of ground and is well muscled. He can move strongly and accelerate. Moreover, he has a good uphill jumped canter.
