Waikiki van de Voorde’s sire, Oxo van de Mispelaere, is a grandson of top progenitor Diamant de Semilly out of Ariel van de Mispelaere. Ariel underlined her value as a breeding dam by signing for the motherhood of the international 4* Grand Prix showjumper Glorix van de Mispelaere and Fariello van de Mispelaere who performed at 1m45 level. Ariel’s dam, Joke van de Mispelaere, also enjoys a very good reputation. She is the dam of the successful World Cup horse Felix van de Mispelaere and the granddam of the BWP ambassador Wandor van de Mispelaere. This BWP lineage 32 includes even more international performers, such as Wodan, Erodana, Imoretto van de Breemeersen, Renzerin van de Rampaarden, Tableautin and Insaghi.
Waikiki’s dam is the 7-year-old Paris van de Voorde, a daughter of the progenitor Vigo d’Arsouilles. This dam line, the Holstein breeding family 4220, includes several approved stallions (such as Clever Boy HC, Chelis HC, Levi HC, Cassino, Coleman and Izmir) and international showjumpers, amongst them Carry On (1m55 level), Bente H (1m50 level, Frederik Cattebeke) and the 5* showjumpers Zita (Markus Saurugg) and Quinn 33 (Tanner Korotkin and Felipe Amaral).
Waikiki van de Voorde is a beautiful type with a lot of charisma. The filly shows a light-footed trot and canter. The movements are carrying from the hindquarters.
