PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS

Volt van de Voortakker is a well-developed colt with a big frame. His legs are correctly built and he has fluent gaits.

Volt van de Voortakker’s sire is called Qannando B. & V., a stallion who carries the very best performance blood. His sire is the top progenitor Kannan, while the dam line is a succession of top dams from lineage 34. Qannando B. & V. meets all standards of a contemporary modern showjumper: a very good canter, caution, very easy to ride, a lot of scope, a great zest for work, a lot of charisma, a correct functional conformation, good health and a top pedigree.

Volt is the result of crossing two BWP top dam lines: via his sire he belongs to the Qerly Chin dam line (34), via his dam to the equally coveted Usha van ’t Roosakker lineage (100). Volt’s dam, Mandy VD Bisschop, remained faultless as a five- and six-year-old in almost all cycle heats in which she participated. She also produced the 6-year-old BWP approved stallion Cello VD Bisschop Z (2*, 1m35 level) and Paola VD Bisschop (1m35 level). Volt’s granddam, Josephine VD Bisschop, performed at 1m45 level and produced the approved stallion Obus VD Bisschop and several showjumpers, including Oxana VD Bisschop. Josephine’s dam, Evita van ’t Roosakker, is a daughter of Usha van ’t Roosakker and produced some outstanding performers, such as Isaac and Jackson VD Bisschop.
