PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS

Vedett van de Cappelakker is a well-developed colt with sufficient frame and correct legs. He shows a light-footed trot and canter and a fluent walk.

Vedett van de Cappelakker’s sire is the international, successful Grand Prix showjumper VDL Glasgow van ’t Merelsnest. In 2017, Glasgow contributed to the gold medal at the Nations Cup final in Barcelona. Under the saddle of Jur Vrieling, he experienced several highlights in the international five-star circuit, such as the victory in the GP of Rome and the World Cup class in Helsinki.

Vedett’s dam, Fatoucha v.d. Romstee, is a daughter of the international Grand Prix/BWP elite stallion Triomphe de Muze. We also find in this dam line the approved stallion Carryduff vh Juxschot Z (who jumped at 1m40 level, in partnership with various riders) and Insolente Des Dix Bonniers (5*, 1m50 level).

During the national championship BWP elite foals, Vedett’s performance was rewarded with high scores on ‘type and correctness’ and ‘appearance’.
