PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS
Valentino VD Molendreef is a colt with a good rectangular model and a big frame. He trots with a regular rhythm and a good canter.
The sire of this colt is Foncetti van de Heffinck, ex-aequo winner of the stallion competition as a four-year-old, as a five-year-old 4th in this competition and today as a seven-year-old a real clear round showjumper at 1m35 to 1m40 level under the saddle of Lowie Joppen.
Valentino also inherited performance blood on his dam’s side. His dam, Grande Dame V/D Molendreef, produced OO Seven VD Molendreef (who was a finalist at the WC in Lanaken as a 5-year-old) and Maximus V/D Molendreef (1m35 level). Via Grande Dame, Valentino makes part of the BWP lineage 49. This breeding family includes a whole series of showjumpers, amongst them Via Volo van de Molendreef (1m60 level, Elizabeth Beezie Madden), Gigolo V/D Molendreef (5*, 1m60 level), the GP horse Ad Fundum, Every Way, Qadance and Keep Away VD Molendreef.
