Whoever makes the last bid for Uzi van de Gaathoeve will become the owner of a half-brother to the BWP approved stallion Riesling van de Gaathoeve and the international showjumper Las Vegas V/D Padenborre. Uzi’s sire is the promising Chacco-Blue son Chacfly PS. During his stallion performance test, Chacfly PS became glorious champion, with the maximum score of 10/10 for no fewer than six parts and with 9,5/10 for ‘Rittigkeit’. In 2016 he won the bronze medal at the Hanoverian championship for four-year-olds in Verden. Last year Chacfly performed in the international showjumping circuit under the saddle of Laura Strehmel.
Uzi’s dam, Elite VD Padenborre, was ex aequo winner in the final of the Belgian Championship for four-year-olds in Gesves (Nicolas Leemans) and was then started at 1m30 level in partnership with Ben Thiry. As a brood mare she has already produced her business card several times. Her son Las Vegas VD Padenborre (°2011) achieved several top ten places during 5* competitions (1m50 to 1m55 level) and another son of hers, Riesling van de Gaathoeve (°2017), was approved as a breeding stallion by BWP and is currently performing at 1m30 level (Pieter Kenis). Elite’s dam, Butterfly van de Padenborre, jumped at 1m40 to 1m45 level, under the saddle of Patrik Spits. She is a half-sister to a series of international performers, such as Ohio, Val T’Horens, Winchester and Fox Trot Van De Padenborre, all representatives of the strong, well-bred BWP dam line 21.
