PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS

Ups En Downs van het Voortveldshof’s sire, Lord Calando, is a son of Lord out of the Holstein breeding family 162. Lord Calando has repeatedly shown his business card in top sport. Just think of his son Lux Z (who participated at the Olympic Games in Sydney and the WEG in Jerez de la Frontera, in partnership with Jerry Smit, and subsequently became a supplier of excellent showjumpers) and the outstanding performer Locando, with whom Marcus Ehning achieved international success. Lord Calando not only produced very good showjumpers, but also good dressage horses, such as Legacy (Isabell von Wendorff) and Lacantus.

Pavali van ’t Neromhof, the dam of Ups En Downs, is a half-sister to the international showjumpers Batida de Morango (1m45 to 1m50 level) and Iluna v/h Groenhof (1m45 level). Did you know that Pavali’s dam is a half-sister to none other than Avenir? In partnership with Abdel Said and Christine McCrea, Avenir achieved several top ten places during 1m60 classes in the five-star circuit. Several other showjumpers (such as Imagine de Muze (5*, 1m60 level, James Wilson) and Celine van de Wolfsakker, 1m45 to 1m55 level) and even an international 3* eventer (namely Impact van ’t Plutoniahof) belong to this family.
