Umani van de Cappelakker has two stallions in his pedigree who have performed at the highest level, namely Chilli Willi and Triomphe de Muze. Nicola Philippaerts experienced numerous highlights in the international five-star circuit with Chilli Willi. Just think of the victories in the GCT-GCL classes in London, Doha and Chantilly, victory in the Chantilly GP, team gold in the Nations Cup in Rotterdam, 2nd place in the Doha GP and 3rd place in the Miami GP. In March 2021, the life of this extremely successful stallion came to an end. His oldest descendants are now performing at 1m40 level.

Umani’s dam, Fatoucha V.D. Romstee, is by Triomphe de Muze, a BWP elite stallion with whom David Jobertie successfully jumped at international Grand Prix level. Qui-Vive, a half-sister to Fatoucha, is known as the granddam of Carryduff VH Juxschot Z, an approved stallion who performed at 1m40 level. Did you know that Insolente des Dix Bonniers, with whom Olivier Philippaerts has excelled in the international five-star circuit, also belongs to this dam line?
