Anyone who buys Ukkepuk becomes the owner of a half-sister to an approved stallion. Ukkepuk is a daughter of Jewel’s Carat, a Quasimodo van de Molendreef son who performed in the international five-star circuit in partnership with Marcus Ehning. Under the saddle of Ehning, Jewel’s Carat won for instance a 1m50 class in Frankfurt (4*) and ranked 10th in a 1m45 class in Sankt-Gallen (5*). Carat has not only been bred very interestingly through his sire, but also through his dam. His dam Classic Touch won individual gold at the Olympic Games in Barcelona and won the World Cup class in Goteborg, as well as several Grands Prix.
Ukkepuk’s dam, Demoiselle, is a daughter of the BWP elite stallion Obourg (BWP dam line 66), who was successful in the sport. In combination with Jon Pleasure van de Mispelaere, Demoiselle produced the approved stallion Oke Jon. This dam line also includes several international eventers (such as Calido van het Slagershof (CCI4*) and Querido van het Edehof) and international showjumpers, amongst them Folinde van het Slagershof (1m60 level) and Ullo (1m45 level).
