His sire Bremen Plan is a thoroughbred who has been approved for BWP in Hungary. Bremen Plan won several steeplechases, which underlines his winning mentality, big heart, endurance, sports qualities and hardness.
Pieke van de Achterhoek, the dam of Tintoe Achterhoek, was sold to the United States last year at the age of six as a talented sport horse. She is a half-sister to the international showjumper Merino van de Achterhoek (1m40 to 1m45 level, Marian Müller) and the approved stallion Qwintoe Achterhoek. Pieke is a daughter of the successful 5* Grand Prix stallion Iron Man van de Padenborre. Through his dam, Tintoe Achterhoek belongs to the BWP dam line 73, with Grandessa as the foundation dam. Several performers make part of this lineage, including Akita (5*, Philippe Rozier), Ushar, Wingo, Toshi, Bindhu and the aforementioned Merino van de Achterhoek.
