Thorgan van het Landauke’s sire, Leandro VG (BWP lineage 115), was the winner of the stallion competition at the age of 7 and was already active at international 1m40 to 1m50 level at the age of 8. The honours list of the BWP elite stallion Leandro VG includes 7th place in the GP Sires in Lanaken, the 2nd place in the 2* GP of Lier and the 4th place in the 2* GP of Ghent. Several of his sons have now been approved as breeding stallions, including Top Secret van ’t Meulenhof and Nagir Sitte. His offspring are very easy to ride, very willing to work and jump with a lot of reflexes.
Through his dam, Oilily van de Kwade Heyde, Thorgan inherited the performance blood of Jilbert van ’t Ruytershof (a BWP elite stallion who collected several victories and places of honour in the international 5* circuit) and the Dutch Sijgje lineage. Oilily’s dam, Fleur Deluxe, produced the AES approved stallion Nero van de Kwade Heyde (who last year participated several times in international 1m40 classes in England) and Pilatus van de Kwade Heyde (1m40 level). Fleur Deluxe’s dam produced the international showjumper El Ninjo van de Kwade Heyde. The international performer Il Gagne van de Kwade Heyde is also part of this Sijgje lineage.
