Heartbeat, the sire of Hunter Heartbeat Z, is by the top progenitor Heartbreaker out of Elly (by Ramiro). Elly produced several international showjumpers, including Dixon (5*, Jasmin Ranta-Aho), Spetter (4* and 5*, 1m40 to 1m45 level) and Spetter’s full brother, Heartbeat. Under the saddle of the Danish rider Sören Knudsen, Heartbeat ranked 6th in 2006 in the final of the World Championship for five-year-old showjumpers in Lanaken. After this brilliant performance, this duo achieved some good results during international 2* and 3* competitions. From the end of 2011, Torben Frandsen, a compatriot of Knudsen, wrote a sequel to the international success story of Heartbeat.
Uniek V.D. To-Jo-Pe Hoeve signed for the motherhood of Hunter Heartbeat. This daughter of Calvados is known as the dam of the international showjumpers Que En Que Tojo PE H (5*, Alain Jufer), Vins VD Tojopehoeve (1m50 level, Laura Kraut), Qwina V Tojopehoeve (1m45 level, Kelly Jochems) and Zuniek VD Tojopehoeve (1m45 level, Harry Bateman). Uniek V.D To-Jo-Pe Hoeve is a full sister to the international Grand Prix horse Hofgut Liederbach’s Ikarus (Pia Luise Aufrecht-Bruggink). Other successful showjumpers such as the 5* showjumper Dandy (Kaitlin Dawn Campbell), Kadee van het Heikanthof (1m50 level, Bart Jay Junior Vandecasteele) and Egwel (1m50 level, Kevin Jochems) also belong to this Zolinda line. Good blood rarely lies!
