PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS

The sire of this embryo, the Olympic stallion Mylord Carthago, was not just a five-star performer, but a winner! He won the 5* GP of Helsinki, Vienna and Paris, as well as the 5* Nations Cups in Aachen, Rome and Gijón. Mylord Carthago has not only proven himself at the highest level, but also passes on his showjumping qualities and competition mentality to his offspring. In the WBFSH top 100 of the best suppliers of showjumpers in the world, he ranks 4th, thanks to Tino La Chapelle, Bingo du Parc, Argan de Beliard, Utopie Villelongue and Valmy de la Lande, amongst others.

The dam of this embryo, Très Unique, lives up to her name. Her sire is BWP elite stallion/5* sports stallion Nixon van ’t Meulenhof, her dam is the former 5* sports mare Latisha de Regor (BWP dam line 34). Latisha, a daughter of Diamant de Semilly out of Imogen de Regor, was already very successful as a young horse: 3rd in the final ranking of the cycle for 6-year-olds, 5th in the final of the Belgian Championship for 6-year-olds, 4th in the final ranking of the cycle for 7-year-olds. In the autumn of 2018, she was sold to Jan Tops after her performance during the World Championship for young horses in Lanaken. In partnership with Edwina Tops-Alexander, Latisha can look back on a successful career in the international 5* circuit. Niel Vangelder (Stable Koningsbos): “Both Latisha and Imogen had a top mentality in the arena. In daily interaction both were sweet, well-behaved, calm mares. Once they got into the competition arena, they were focused and the competitiveness came to the fore.” Latisha’s offspring is promising: her son Tornado (°2019) was approved as a breeding stallion by BWP and her eldest descendant, Quasi Perfect de Regor (°2016), performs at 1m40 level.
