This embryo combines the blood of the top sire Comme Il Faut with that of 5* top performer Mumbai van de Moerhoeve. Under the saddle of Marcus Ehning, Comme Il Faut played a leading role for years in the five-star circuit, which underlines not only his quality, but also his hardness and health. Comme Il Faut won for instance the 5* Grands Prix of Vienna, Madrid and Brussels Stephex Masters. In addition, he collected numerous top ten places in GCT classes, World Cup classes, Nations Cups and the EC in Rotterdam (silver team medal and 5th individual). Comme Il Faut is also making his mark as a progenitor. In the most recent WBFSH sire ranking, he has now risen to 10th place.
We naturally know the dam of the embryo, Ischgl de Muze, as the dam of the extraordinary showjumper/BWP elite stallion Mumbai van de Moerhoeve (in 2023, for instance 14th at the EC in Milan, 2nd in the 5* GP in Saint-Tropez, 6th in the 5* GP in Cannes, winner of a 5* 1m55 class in Mexico City and Doha), as well as the approved BWP-registered Opium JW van de Moerhoeve TN (5*, Lillie Keenan) and Olleke Bolleke JW van de Moerhoeve (1m45 level). In Love JW van de Moerhoeve, a Jenson van ’t Meulenhof daughter out of Ischgl, produced the BWP approved stallions Sparkling JW van de Moerhoeve and Ube VD Bisschop. Ischgl’s dam, Eureka van ’t Roosakker, was a winner at international five-star level and is related through her dam line to, amongst others, Ta Belle van Sombeke, Ba Belle van ’t Roosakker and Fa-Belle van ’t Roosakker.
