PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS
By buying Diaz van de Nieuwe Heide, you actually get the vice champion of the last national BRp foal championship. His sire, Walli van de Nieuweheide, was born in 2018 and is a very appealing riding pony stallion small size. During the Nabor Cup 2022, several qualities were highlighted in his report, including his willingness to work, spacious walk, a trot with sufficient space and good self-carriage, a nice uphill canter. On the fences he showed a good foreleg technique, good use of the shoulder and body. He finished his jump nicely.
Luna, Diaz van de Nieuwe Heide’s dam, is by the famous pony stallion Ten Ankers Bileander out of Hengelhoef’s Queena. In combination with Quint van de Groenheuvel, Queena produced the approved champion stallion Ubor van de Nieuwe Heide, who has been sold to the United States. Ubor is not Queena’s only achievement: in combination with Socrates Optimus, Queena produced the approved stallion Wigan van de Nieuwe Heide. Luna herself is the dam of some good ponies, including the approved stallion Tsigan van de Nieuwe Heide who was sold to Oliver Heuring and who is successfully competing in sport in partnership with Oliver’s daughter Marie-Lynn.
Diaz does not deny his parentage. At the national BRp foal championship he got 31/40 for ‘type and correctness’, 33/40 for ‘movements’ and 17/20 (the highest score in this series) for ‘appearance’, which together accounted for 81 %. Diaz van de Nieuwe Heide is a beautiful type and correctly built. The foal shows a handy trot and a good canter.
