PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS

Tartufo is an Italian ice cream specialty. In 2018, studfarm De Muze also made a specialty that can make your mouth water, Tartufo de Muze. Ax belongs to Tartufo’s first vintage. Shortly after Tartufo’s approval at BWP, Christophe De Brabander stated: ‘Tartufo is a complete stallion with a lot of charisma in every respect. After the second phase I rode him for a while. He is very easy to ride, nicely balanced. He jumps well and cooperates well. He is not only a complete stallion, but also a complete showjumper. I firmly believe in him. His pedigree is also very interesting: Chacco-Blue x Heartbreaker.’ In addition to Tartufo, Azuela de Muze produced two other approved stallions (Uelo and Royalo de Muze), as well as the international showjumpers Felini de la Pomme (4*, Regis Bouguennec) and Vedet de Muze (5*, Joe Clee). Tartufo does not deny his origins: this year he was clear in several heats and the final of the stallion competition for four-year-olds.

Ax also inherited a dose of performance blood through his dam, Rozaline van het Eikenhof. She is a 6-year-old daughter of Kaiser van het Lambroeck (5*, Kaitlin Campbell) out of the BWP Elite dam Epoline van het Eikenhof. Rozaline is a half-sister to Jenoe van het Eikenhof, who has achieved several top 10 places in the international four and five-star circuit under the saddle of Jérôme Guéry. Epoline’s dam, Priska van het Lindenhof, produced Simphonie van het Eikenhof, amongst others. Simphonie is the icing on the cake. She is the dam of Very Special VD Witte Hoeve (5*, Jürgen Kraus) and Mozart van het Eikenhof (performed at 1m40 level), as well as the granddam of Lolly Pop van het Eikenhof (1m45 level).
