Avicii, there’s music in that. In any case, he already has his pedigree, conformation and movements. He is a son of the BWP champion stallion Quatre Mai-L, who remained clear in all heats of the stallion competition in 2020. A year later, due to Covid-19, there was only one heat. Also in this heat he left the arena with a clear round. Last year he ranked ex aequo 5th in this competition. This year he again collected several clear rounds. He is very easy to ride and jumps with a lot of power, scope, suppleness, ease and overview.
Orange VD Bisschop, the dam of Avicii, has three stallions in her pedigree that have performed at the highest level: Jenson van ’t Meulenhof, Clinton and Papillon Rouge. Orange is a half-sister to Nono VD Bisschop, a 10-year-old Echo van ’t Spieveld son with whom Benjamin Barbat jumped at international 3* 1m45 level last year. Orange’s granddam, Ode de Bellevue, is known as the dam of Ida VD Bisschop (2nd in the 5* GP of Ascona and Falsterbo, 5th in the 5* GP of Bordeaux, etc.) and the granddam of Mintou VD Bisschop (1m40 to 1m45 level).
