Would you like to acquire a vice-champion of the most recent national BWP Elite Foal championship? This can be done by placing the final bid on Artic Van De Lage Heide. In the final of the young colts, he showed what he has to offer. His sire, Ermitage Kalone, is working towards a successful career in top sport. At the age of 8, Ermitage Kalone already made his international five-star debut. This year he performed several times in for instance Vejer de la Frontera (4*, 1m45 to 1m55 level) and Moerzeke (4*, 1m50 level). In almost every showjumping class he participated in, he left the arena with a clear round. As a breeding stallion, he has also given his business card several times. In 2021, for example, his daughter Valkyrie JM became champion at the BWP national Elite foal championship and his son Sunday JM was honoured as 1st reserve champion at the BWP stallion selection. This year his son Ultra Star JM was crowned BWP champion stallion in the option showjumping.
Jessy Van Het Peggershof, Artic’s dam, is by BWP ambassador Thunder Van De Zuuthoeve, 28th in the WBFSH ranking of the best showjumpers suppliers in the world. Further in the dam line we find several international showjumpers, including Cashmire D (who successfully performed at 2* 1m60 level, under the saddle of Luiz Francisco de Azevedo) and Emir D (4*, 1m45 level, Shannon Hicks).
Artic Van De Lage Heide is a long-legged, long-lined, spacious developed foal. He has a spacious canter and a well carried trot with a lot of impulsion.
