PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS
Armani gained name and fame in the international fashion world. With his looks, movements and pedigree, Armani van Heiste also has everything to make it happen worldwide. His sire, Foncetti van de Heffinck, became ex aequo winner in the stallion competition as a four-year-old and 4th as a five-year-old. Subsequently, Foncetti scored numerous clear rounds during international showjumping competitions for young horses, in partnership with Lowie Joppen. At the beginning of 2022, Thibeau Spits took over the reins. Result: less than 12 months later, Foncetti made his five-star debut. This year the Spits-Foncetti duo placed 4th in a 1m55 class in Göteborg (5*) and 9th in the 1m55 GP of Opglabbeek. Foncetti’s descendants are generally generously developed and have a good character. They jump off the ground lightly and with a lot of scope.
Through his dam Lancome van Heiste, Armani belongs to the famous BWP dam line 21, alias the ‘van de Padenborre lineage’ of the breeder Andre Leemans. Lancome’s full sister, Chiarra van Heiste, has performed at international level under the saddle of Angie Lefebvre and has produced four international showjumpers: Gucci van Heiste (1m50 level), Hero van Heiste (1m60 level), Inoui van Heiste (1m45 level) and Inzagi van Heiste (1m35 level). Armani’s granddam, Utah H, is a daughter out of India van de Padenborre, who in turn is a full sister to Jessica van de Padenborre. What Jessica left behind for breeding and top sport appeals to the imagination. She is the dam of outstanding showjumpers, such as Toronto (5*, Juan Carlos Garcia) and Wimpel van de Padenborre (1m50 level), as well as the granddam of Socrates (5*, Edwina Tops-Alexander), Up and Down (5*, Jeroen Dubbeldam), Ho-Go (5*, Denis Lynch) and the late Iron Man van de Padenborre (5*, Grégory Wathelet). Good blood never lies!
