PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS
The sire of this filly, Karan Van De Heffinck, was approved as a breeding stallion by BWP. This 6-year-old son of Kannan out of a Baloubet du Rouet daughter has a lot of blood and willingness to work and is pleasant to ride, qualities that are very important in showjumping today. He jumps light-footed from the ground and shows a lot of scope. Karan did not miss his sporting debut. Under the saddle of Jorik Vervoort, he realized several clear rounds during heats of the stallion competition and the cycle (this year, including double correct in Ternat, Hasselt, Sint-Niklaas and Lier).
Through her dam, Iolyne Van Loheky, Amaura Baeckeland goes back to the Dutch breeding family 81. This lineage includes several showjumpers from the 1m60 circuit (amongst them Urban Hero, Undercontract and Jerico), dressage horses (such as Authentic, Kosmo K, Zithalia and Desperado) and approved stallions, including the KWPN ‘Keur’ stallion Havidoff, Sandreo, Union Jack, Jorlando, Wings, Urban Hero, Kasjmir and Excelsior.
Amaura Baeckeland is a foal with a lot of blood. She has a spacious trot and a good canter, with a lot of impulsion.
