PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS
Alejandro Van Het Bergeneinde has a very interesting genetic background. His sire, Farfelu de Muze, is by Quel Hero de Muze out of Fragance de Chalus, the exceptionally valuable Jalisco B daughter who we know as the dam of, amongst others, BWP ambassador Bamako de Muze and the Olympic stallion Mylord Carthago. As a 4-year-old, Farfelu was crowned ‘Elite’ during the 2009 Belgian Championship in Gesves. A year later, he was approved as a breeding stallion by AES. Several of Farfelu’s descendants are in the spotlight in top sport, including Noortje VD Windheuvel (5*, Mark Bluman), the GP horse Flower and Fanfreluche de Rialfo (5*, Adam Grzegorzewski).
Emanuelle, the dam of Alejandro, produced Nice Guy (1m40 level), amongst others. She is a full sister to Azzedine, an Argentinus son who performed at 1m60 level under the saddle of Cesar Almeida. Chataga (by Chaman), a half-sister to Emanuelle, jumped clear last year in Vejer de la Frontera in almost all international competitions in which she participated. Alejandro already showed his qualities during the national championship BWP Elite Foals. He was selected by the jury to participate in the final.
Alejandro Van Het Bergeneinde is a modern foal, a very beautiful type. He has a spacious and light-footed trot, as well as a spacious canter, with a lot of impulsion from the hindquarters.
