PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS

The sire of Alanis Van De Heemstede, Toetankhamon de Muze, is blessed with proven genetics. His sire, Kasanova de la Pomme, 13 years old, has so far achieved an impressive series of brilliant performances under the saddle of Koen Vereecke. Just think of his two clear rounds during the Nations Cup final in Barcelona where the Belgian team won gold. In the Nations Cups in Hickstead and Falsterbo he scored double clear rounds and in May this year he ranked 6th in the 5* 1m60 GP of Rome. Toetankhamon’s granddam, H&M Butterfly Flip, has dominated the showjumping scene for many years, including successful participation in two Olympiads. Toetankhamon was crowned 1st reserve champion in 2022 after the BWP stallion selection.

The dam of Alanis, Z-Andra, jumped in LRV class Z. She has also presented her business card as a broodmare. She is the dam of, amongst others, Sender Van De Heemstede (approved as a breeding stallion by SBS in 2021), Pippa Van De Heemstede (performs at 1m40 level), Trapper Van De Heemstede (sold as a foal during the Belgian Foal Auction in 2019 to the USA), Vinie Van De Heemstede (traded to France as a foal via the BWP Online Foal Auction in 2021) and Wolke Van De Heemstede (last year honoured as vice champion during the BWP Breeding Day Wambeek and with 83% successful during the national BWP Elite Foal Championship). Z-Andra belongs to the Holstein lineage 4705, this is the breeding family of Catoki and Levantos I and II, amongst others.

Alanis Van De Heemstede is a beautiful, modern type with a good rectangular model. She has a good top line. Her trot and canter are spacious and well carried.
