Alana van de Oudeveldhoeve is a daughter of the promising Cazan van het Schaeck, combined with BWP dam line 66. Cazan, what a genetic cocktail! His sire Comme Il Faut is a multiple 5* GP winner and won team silver at the European Championship in Rotterdam, his dam J’Adore van het Schaeck (BWP dam line 34) won team gold at the European Junior Championship in Vilamoura (Anthony Philippaerts) and became 3rd in a 5* 1m55 class in Geneva (Nicola Philippaerts), 5th at the Belgian Championship for seniors (Nicola Philippaerts), etc. Cazan already showed at a young age that he carries the best performance blood. In 2021 he ranked 4th in the final of the Belgian championship for 6-year-olds, before ending up in the EuroHorse stable. In partnership with Jos Verlooy, Cazan jumped countless times clear in international competitions for young horses.
Through her dam, Kachira J&F, Alana makes part of BWP dam line 66. Kachira is a daughter of the foundation dam Jusquiame de Champenotte, the icing on the cake, so to speak. Jusquiame produced, amongst others, the BWP Elite stallion Obourg (1m50 level, Yves Vanderhasselt), the BWP approved stallion Averal (1m50 level, Clark Glasgow), the BWP Elite mare Brillante (1m45 level, Harrie Smolders) and Honfleur (1m45 level, Koenraad Bauters). This successful BWP line also includes several international performers, such as Etoile van de Neerheide, Leader van de Neerheide, Nesquick Optimus and Unestar d’Ysenbeeck.
