PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS

Expectations for the performance and offspring of Replay van ’t Paradijs, the sire of Airplay van het Doornebos, are high. After all, he is the result of crossing BWP ambassador Bamako de Muze with the 5* GP mare Jeunesse van ’t Paradijs (BWP dam line 80). The 6-year-old Replay has had a very good track record in sport so far. He was a finalist in the stallion competition in 2022 and 2023. Last year he emphasized his excellent showjumping qualities during the World Championship for five-year-olds, where he actually managed to qualify for the jump-off of the final. Replay’s offspring seems promising. Last year, a son of him won the foal championship in Pulderbos, named Wicked V/D Leeuwerkheide.

Airplay’s dam, Flair VGW, has an interesting pedigree. Her sire, Flipper d’Elle, has played a leading role in the international showjumping scene for many years. Under the saddle of Laurent Goffinet, he won several great classes and contributed to team gold several times during five-star Nations Cups. Air Jordania, the dam of Flair VGW, is also a genetic gem. She is the result of crossing the Grand Prix stallion Air Jordan Z (multiple 5* GP winner, 2nd in the World Cup final in Las Vegas, etc.) with Riviera Z, a Ramiro x Almé mare with whom Hubert Bourdy, Jos Lansink and Piet Raijmakers experienced highlights in the international showjumping sport. Riviera produced several 5* performers, such as Aniviero Z and Quira Z. Air Jordania also gave her business card on several occasions, including as dam of the international performers Another Tiji and Bux Bunny de Tiji.
