During the most recent national championship BWP Elite Foals, Achille Van De Engelbeek presented his business card. He ranked fourth in the final. His pedigree will not be strange to this. It starts with his sire, Riesling van ’t Roosakker (BWP dam line 100), a six-year-old Comme Il Faut son out of Lady Gaga van ’t Roosakker. Lady Gaga’s dam is the former international 5* GP dam Electra van ’t Roosakker. The BWP registered Riesling is a rising star. This year he again delivered several champion foals. In the final in which Achille ranked fourth, Riesling was represented twice.
Achille also inherited top showjumping blood through his dam line. His dam, Jarosla Van De Engelbeek, was a finalist at the Belgian Championship in Gesves as a 4-year-old, took the 12th place in the final of the Belgian Cup for Seniors and jumped creditably up to and including 1m55 level, under the saddle of Nick Verlies. Jarosla underlines her value and qualities not only in sport, but also in breeding. In combination with Jon Pleasure Van De Mispelaere, she produced the international showjumper Osaka Van De Engelbeek (Ricardo Iglesias Fernandez). Good blood never lies!
Achille Van De Engelbeek is a beautiful, long-legged type, with a good top line and a good rectangular model.
