PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS
Accothage MDB has not missed his debut in foal championships. In the regional championship in Moerbeke-Waas he won gold in the C series for male showjumping foals and in the national championship BWP Elite Foals he took bronze in the final of the young male showjumping foals. His sire, Chaccothage Blue PS, is by Chacco-Blue, who is leading the WBFSH sire ranking. During his performance test in Adelheidsdorf, Chaccothage Blue became champion, with 9,5/10 for scope and rideability and 10/10 ‘Leistungsbereitschaft’, the all-important will to perform. With Patrick Stühlmeyer in the saddle, Chaccothage Blue PS ranked 6th last year in the final of the Bundeschampionat for five-year-old showjumpers.
A high dose of performance is anchored in the dam line of Accothage MDB. Innadina Pp, Accothage’s dam, is a half-sister to the 7-year-old Caidinus Pp who often jumps clear during international competitions under the saddle of Laura Baaring Kjaergaard. Innadina’s granddam, Wadina, produced Corradina Pp (1m60 level) and Heyodinus Pp (1m45 level). Other performers such as Ginadina Pp (5*, William Fletcher) and Van Schijndel’s Dominus (5*, Piet Raijmakers Jr.), as well as the Heartbreaker son Padinus, who died much too early, also belong to this successful, originally Dutch breeding family.
Accothage MDB has a good rectangular model. This long-legged foal has a sufficient spacious trot and a spacious, well carried canter.
