Thanks to A Sparkling Star Ter Schellebeek you can acquire a son of the promising Ermitage Kalone. Under the saddle of Gilles Thomas, Ermitage Kalone is working towards a successful career in top sport. At the age of 8, Ermitage Kalone already made his international five-star debut. This year he performed several times in for instance Vejer de la Frontera (4*, 1m45 to 1m55 level) and Moerzeke (4*, 1m50 level). In almost every showjumping class he participated in, he left the arena with a clear round. As a breeding stallion, he has also given his business card several times. In 2021, for example, his daughter Valkyrie JM became champion at the BWP national Elite foal championship and his son Sunday JM was honoured as 1st reserve champion at the BWP stallion selection. This year his son Ultra Star JM was crowned BWP champion stallion in the option showjumping.
Tralala Van ’t Jonkersleen, the dam of A Sparkling Star Ter Schellebeek, is by Otard van ’t Roosakker, a BWP approved grandson of Electra van ’t Roosakker (BWP dam line 100). Tralala is a half-sister to Nelson Van ’t Jonkersleen (a Breemeersen Adorado son who jumped at 1m40 level), Pastelle Van ’t Jonkersleen (this full sister to Nelson was crowned champion of the day during the 2021 conformation contest in Pittem) and Ravel Van ’t Jonkersleen (a Menko VD Wellington son who outperformed all his competitors in the A series of colts with 85% during the foal championship of Pittem/Torhout in 2017). This dam line includes several international showjumpers, such as Hermanie (with whom Louise Joassin participated in, amongst others, the European Championschip Children, 2016) and L’Espoir Van Dorperheide (5*, 1m60 level, Susanna Granroth).
