PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS

Whoever places the last bid for A Blueberry Breeze, will own the foal that won bronze during the most recent national championship BWP Elite foals. He is by the 5* GP stallion Le Blue Diamond van ’t Ruytershof, crossed with the performance blood of the Holstein lineage 122. Le Blue Diamond (BWP dam line 69) jumped very creditably at a young age under the saddle of Jan Vermeiren, including during the finals of the BC and WC for 6-year-olds (2017) and the final of the BC for 7-year-olds (2018). In July 2019, Jan and Le Blue Diamond ranked 2nd in the final of the BVB Seniors. Shortly afterwards, Olivier Philippaerts took over the reins to write a sequel to the success story of Le Blue Diamond. Some highlights so far: bronze team medal at the European Championship in Riesenbeck, victory in the 5* GCL Play Off 1m60 in Prague, 7th in the 5* 1m60 GP of Hickstead, 7th in the 5* 1m55 GP of La Coruna and 11th in the 5* 1m60 GP of Rotterdam. Several descendants from Le Blue Diamond’s first vintage (°2015) are now performing at 1m45 level.C

A Blueberry Breeze’s granddam is called Claretina C. She is a daughter of Clarence C who is a half-brother to the top progenitor Casall through his dam. Clarence C produced several international showjumpers for the big job, such as Liston Achterhoek (1m60 level), Clarin de Llamosas (1m50 to 1m60 level) and Nirvana C (4*). Claretina C makes part of the Holstein breeding family 122, this is the lineage of Collins, Coming Star (finalist at the WC in Lanaken in 2004 and later performing at 1m50 to 1m60 level) and Landsmann.

A Blueberry Breeze is a long-legged foal with a lot of suppleness, a well carried trot and canter and the ability to switch easily.
